You do not type an email and you do not put in a card. The link signs you in as a demo owner and drops you on the dashboard. From there everything is open, therefore you can receive a package, print a label, build a route or mark a delivery, the same way your team would on a Tuesday morning.
Nothing you do in there touches a real customer, and nothing sticks around. The demo account gets wiped and rebuilt every few hours, so the next person who opens it starts from the same clean example you did. Because of that, do not put real customer names or real phone numbers in it.

About the demo
Do I need to give a card or an email to open the demo?
No. The demo link signs you in by itself, with no form, no email and no card. It is a seeded example company, not a trial of your own account, so there is nothing to cancel afterwards.
Can I break something in the demo?
Go ahead. Every screen is unlocked and you can add, edit or delete whatever you like. The demo account is wiped and rebuilt from scratch every few hours, so anything you do disappears on its own and the next visitor gets the same clean example.
Should I put my real customers in the demo?
No, please do not. Anyone can open the demo, therefore anything you type in there is visible to other people until the next reset. Use made up names and numbers, and keep real customer information for your own account.
Is the demo the same app I would be paying for?
Yes. It is the same product with the same screens and the same permissions, only pointed at example data. The one thing you cannot do inside it is change billing or delete the company, because those would break it for the next person.
